Here's a conceptual sketch of Russo and Cafferty's muskrat friend, Marshall Jacobs (aka Marsh). He's your typical go-to guy for advice on life and leisure, and is no stranger to the open sea. His day job is ferry boat captain (hence the raincoat).

Medieval Critters by Kresblain

Completed sketch initially slated for this past Halloween. It took a while, but it was worth it. Anywho, here's the finished product. Here, of course, are the motley crew of furry woodland creatures decked out in renaissance costumes, ready for fun and merriment. From left to right: Squire Cafferty; Lady Carolyn, champion archer (crossbow not featured here); Sir Russo, adventurer and debonair romantic (at least, that's what he thinks LOL); and the fair maiden Spunky, Duchess of the great kingdom of Toonapalooza. XD Thanks to fellow artists Sonderjen and Jen Seng for the support.

Russo & Cafferty by Kresblain

Sketch composite of best buds and potential comic duo Brendan Russo (the down-to-earth polecat) and Marco Cafferty (the mild-mannered marmot). These two characters are part of an ensemble cast in a story that's basically an American "Wind in the Willows" concept. Still a work in progress, but for the time being I'm considering making these two guys my honorary mascots. Enjoy!
